Client: INOAC | Agency: Yonts + Co
Prior to this project, INOAC was a client that we mainly served by providing photography and videography services. When they needed us to do something different, I stepped in to manage it.
INOAC develops functional materials based on polyurethane, rubber, plastics and composites, and manufactures products utilizing these materials. When COVID-19 struck in 2020, their team was paying close attention to what they needed to do to get their plants up and running again.
Once those initial guidelines were set by the CDC and WHO, they contacted us to create the materials to make their employees aware of the new rules. The Yonts + Co team was put on a tight deadline to design the materials and get them ordered and delivered to specific facilities.
INOAC partners with other businesses on manufacturing plants with facilities across America. This meant that for each material we designed, we actually needed 3 versions:one for INOAC, one for their partners, and one in Spanish. We decided to focus on iconography and information, making the design simple and easy to understand in a factory environment.
After the designs were made following the latest CDC/WHO guidelines, we created a spreadsheet allowing each of INOAC’s 11 plant managers to order the versions they needed. Once their orders had been entered, we had them bulk shipped to our office, sorted the designs by location, and sent them on their way.
From beginning to end, this project was fully realized in 25 days. Although I’ve had other projects with tighter deadlines, this is by far the most work I’ve done in that time frame, and I’m proud to say it turned out great!
